In 2018, Andrew, along with 4 other creative artists, was commissioned to take part in a unique conceptual art project that would commemorate the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918, funded by the Arts Council. The brief was to imagine how an epidemic would play out in the modern era and describe the story of 6 very different young people via a series of instagram posts being released over the period of a month.
Andrew crafted the unique story of 2 young people, a graphic designer and a single pregnant woman, as well as producing the unique images that told that story. Andrew also took Creative Image Processing lead on the entire project, producing bespoke graphic design for all 5 artists taking part in the project.
The surreal irony of the events that followed in the coming years was disturbing to say the least.
